Posh & Pizazz: Marie Nails

After hearing much about booking months/weeks in advance to get a Mani & Pedi, and the Fab nail artistry Marie Nails provides; the Luxe Style Specialists made our appointment at the Koreatown Plaza location. Imagine our excitement when we only had to wait one week for our appointment! We couldn't wait to get up close and personal with the 3D + Paint designs. We loved the girly and relaxing atmosphere, easy convo and the complementary refreshing Green Tea. It was perf!  Word to the wise, you might want to bring cash for your services, as Marie Nails only accepts credit card purchases of $50 or more.   Open Monday to Saturday from 10 am - 8 pm and Sunday from 11 am - 7 pm Marie Nails is the place for Fashionsita's from L.A. to New York.   Locations include Beverly Hills, Melrose, and Soho in New York we will most definitely return when we are in the mood for nail pizazz! Donatella Versace Shares her Schedule with Harper's Bazaar

We loved this month's issue of Harper's Bazaar everything from Penelope Cruz gracing the cover to the Summer trends. We especially loved Designer Donatella Versace's schedule. We felt like we personally got to know her, she's so tres chic! We especially like how she starts her morning, read the excerpt from the article below to find out why. : )

8:45 A.M. I take a shower to freshen up. Then I prepare for the day with my beauty regimen. While this is well practiced, it is pretty functional. I have some trusted products that I use regularly. For my skin, it's French almond oil, Dr. Hauschka Quince Day Cream, and By Terry Pureté de Rose gel and Douceur de Rose cleansing cream. I use various products for my hair; I don't really have favorites. And my hair is pretty easy to take care of. My brother Gianni turned me blonde late one night when I was 11, and I have never looked back. As for makeup, I love luminous skin, a nude lip with lip balm, and smoky eyes. Then I reach for my perfume, which is Versace Vanitas, naturally! I put on my working clothes. These tend to be variations on a theme: tight black pants, a long-sleeved shirt, a black leather Versace blouson, and, of course, high heels. I always wear high heels—I simply feel naked without them. I also love well-chosen accessories, and I will usually pick out a couple of pieces from my personal collection of fine jewelry. What I select depends on what I'm wearing, but I'm lucky enough to own beautiful fine jewels, and I have lots to choose from. My favorite piece is a yellow diamond ring Gianni gave me after my first Versus show.
